Brabham Automotive has already made a splash in the supercar segment with the BT62. Now, in partnership with Kyron Audio, it intends to do the same in the world of wealthy audiophiles.

The Australian firm, which is also based in Adelaide, designs and makes “the world’s ultimate amplifiers and loudspeakers”, and is now offering customers the opportunity to order a high-end audio system, described as a work of art, which is as extreme looking as the BT62.

Kyron makes three audio loudspeaker and amplifier systems, and the most expensive one costs AU$349,000, or US$249,319 at current exchange rates. The Phoenix variant features 8×700-watt amplifiers and 2×1500-watt subwoofers, with each component designed in house, precision machined and then assembled by hand. The result is “a sound that is only matched by having the artist perform live in your home”, according to the company.

“Just as the BT62 changes your perception of what a supercar can do, enjoying music via the Kyron Audio system is a mind-changing, immersive experience”, Kyron’s co-founder and lead designer, Lee Gray, said. “We are proud to share Brabham Automotive’s passion for performance and dynamics, and look forward to creating outstanding experiences for our shared clientele.

On his part, Brabham’s CEO, Dan Marks, commented that “Brabham Automotive partners with brands which have the same focus on quality, customer engagement and which strive for excellence in their field. Kyron Audio, a fellow Adelaide-based company, fits that mould, making a premier product for the world stage. Kyron’s dedication to design, engineering and performance matches our own, offering customers an outstanding lifestyle choice.”

No matter if they are road legal or not, all versions of Brabham’s supercar feature the same engine, a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V8 that puts out 700 HP (710 PS / 522 kW) and 492 lb-ft (667 Nm) of torque. The stripped out Competition version starts at £750,000 ($977,715) in the UK.
