Nissan has released the first teaser video of the upcoming 2021 Armada, the facelifted version of the Japanese full-size body-on-frame SUV model.

The 2021 Nissan Armada will be presented on December 8 alongside the facelifted Kicks, featuring a revised exterior look and more modern tech.

In fact, the updated Armada should be visually quite similar to the facelifted Patrol that made its debut in the Middle East back in 2019.

Like the Patrol, the 2021 Armada should feature Nissan’s latest version of the V-Motion front grille and a pair of C-shaped LED headlights to give it a more distinctive face while the rear end is getting redesigned LED taillights, together with the necessary new bumper designs front and rear.

We also expect Nissan to step up their game inside the 2021 Armada, with new more luxurious materials and of course more modern tech than the outgoing model. The latest Patrol adopts an Infiniti-like center console that features dual screens, seats with extra padding, and a range of the company’s latest safety systems.

We don’t have any information about any changes in the engine department, where the outgoing Armada was offered with a single option: a 5.6-liter V8 unit producing 390 HP (395 PS) and 394 lb-ft (533 Nm) of torque, paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission and an optional four-wheel-drive system.

Nissan is going to reveal the 2021 Armada on December 8 at 11 a.m EST.
