Inclement weather from Storm Christoph has been sweeping across the UK, and last week, it claimed one pretty expensive victim: a Ferrari 812 Superfast that was damaged after a crash on a highway in West Yorkshire.

The 812 Superfast, Ferrari’s flagship front-engined supercar, comes at a hefty starting price of $335,000. It features a 6.5-liter V12 that produces 788 hp (799 PS / 588 kW) and 529 lb-ft (717 Nm) of torque, and does the 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in less than three seconds on its way to a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h). Unfortunately, this particular car appears to have suffered an extensive amount of damage, and will likely cost a pretty penny to fix – if it’s not a write-off, that is.

The car appears to have crashed through a protective barrier, prompting Highways England to tweet a photo of the overturned car. They captioned the picture “Storm Christoph 1 – Ferrari 0.”

The unfortunate accident happened last Tuesday morning just before 12 PM on a section of the M621 motorway in West Yorkshire. It’s not yet known if it has resulted in any injuries.

While Highways England had confirmed that a portion of the M621 had been temporarily closed, it later reopened after the Ferrari had been removed. West Yorkshire Police stated they had no “active logs” for the accident.

Coincidentally, the 812 Superfast accident occurred just a few miles away from a Ferrari dealership. Zebby Hussain, the JCT600 Ferrari marketing and digital manager, called it a “very unfortunate accident”, but said that it was not related to the garage.
