The facelifted 2021 Nissan Kicks is now officially on sale, offering revised looks as well as more standard equipment.

Nissan will offer the 2021 Kicks in three trim levels: S, SV, and the range-topping SR. Prices start from $20,650, including a $1,150 destination and handling charge, for the entry-level Kicks S.

All grades will come with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of driver-assistance systems, which includes the class-exclusive Rear Automatic Braking, as standard. In addition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard across the range.

The 2021 Nissan Kicks is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine making 122 HP and 114 lb-ft (155 Nm) of torque, sent to the front wheels via a standard Xtronic CVT transmission. While power may not be one of its strong points, Nissan’s baby crossover returns 31 mpg city, 36 mpg highway, and 33 mpg combined according to EPA estimates.

The facelift of the Nissan Kicks has introduced a new front fascia that aims to make it look much more interesting than before, featuring a “double V-Motion” front grille and a pair of new, thinner LED headlights. The front and rear bumpers are also new, while the rear LED taillights were updated.

Nissan will offer the 2021 Kicks with new wheel designs and a revised color palette that now includes three new color options together with three new two-tone paint combos.

The interior of the 2021 Kicks has been updated with new upholsteries, revised trim, as well as a new 7-inch display in the instrument cluster, an extra USB-C port, and a new 8-inch infotainment system that’s standard on the SV and SR models. The SV and SR models will also come with a new center console featuring an armrest. Customers can also opt for a Bose audio system and Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor.
