If you’re familiar with the Toyota brand, you’ll know that the Camry is sold in sporty TRD guise. But this one is a little… different.

This bizarrely-modified Camry was recently shared on Reddit after being spotted on a motorway in Texas, and while the stock Camry TRD has been tastefully altered with aerodynamic and powertrain modifications, the same cannot be said about this one. In fact, it seems as though the owner has spent a little too long in AutoZone.

Kicking things off are a pair of vortex generators on the roof while a look at the trunklid reveals mounting points for a rear wing, even though there actually isn’t a rear wing in sight. Elsewhere, the family sedan is rocking white racing stripes over the rear and as the aforementioned ‘Sport’, ‘Turbo’, and ‘SE’ badges, informing fellow motorists of just how serious it is.

Arguably the most bizarre change are the tailpipes. On the right, we can see a blue-tipped exhaust sitting alongside a smaller exhaust while on the left there is another large tailpipe also sitting next to a smaller exhaust. We suspect just one or two of these are actually functional.

Other weird changes made to the car include the fitment of various pieces of chrome trim, flared wheel arches, louvers on the side windows, and stickers across the arches and rear-quarter panels. The front end of the Camry also looks to have been altered, but we don’t have any photos of it.
