Automakers around the world are having a hard time building new vehicles because of the chip shortage and the pandemic. Fortunately, this LEGO Technic set requires no superconductor chips to build at home.

It will, however, require a bit of time, because this model of the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is made up of 1,379 pieces and features plenty of realistic details, as revealed on Walmart‘s website. It has four opening doors, as well as a hood and tailgate that open and close, and shock absorbers that compress to mimic the original vehicle’s off-road suspension.

It even features a small version of the Raptor’s V6 engine, which may help explain why LEGO Technic recommends that this model is for builders who are 18 years of age and up. When complete, the model weighs more than 4 lbs and measures 18.9×11.1×4.65 inches (48×28.1×11.8 cm).

The set is based on the latest version of Ford’s well-loved F-150 Raptor. Powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, the high-performance pickup will reportedly churn out 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque. A V8 model is expected in 2022.

To make sure it can perform off-road, the truck comes with 35-inch all-terrain tires as standard, but can also be fitted with 37-inch tires for those who so chose. With the bigger tires, it gets 13.1-inches of ground clearance, a 33.1-degree approach angle, a 24.9-degree departure angle, and a 24.4-degree break-over angle. It also gets Fox Live Valve internal bypass shocks, which are the largest shocks ever installed on a Raptor.

Prices for the real truck are expected to start at $65,840. If that’s a little rich for your blood, you can have some of the fun for $99.99 with this LEGO Technics set which will reportedly go on sale on October 1.
