If you live close to a junkyard and have plenty of fantasy, the possibilities for project cars are virtually unlimited. This is the case with the owner of this weird pickup which is a mashup of a Chrysler Neon, a Dodge Dakota, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee!

Most of the bodywork comes from a first-generation Chrysler Neon Coupe (1996-1999). However, a portion of a rear bed from a second-generation Dodge Dakota (1996-2004) is stitched up on the rear fenders in a surprisingly successful manner. The front end is missing the round headlights of the Neon, and while there are lighting units inside the Dodge-sourced grille and the holes on the front bumper, we doubt this thing is street-legal.

The end result looks like the perfect fit for a post-apocalyptic film. It has an impressive ground clearance thanks to the lifted suspension and the bulky all-terrain tires. The metal front bumper will make sure none of the zombies damage the engine bay area. There is also a roof rack for added practicality since two extra tires take up most of the place in the short rear bed.

While we don’t have specific information on the powertrain, the post states that it uses a V8 engine sourced from a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This could be the 5.2-liter Magnum V8 producing around 220 hp (164 kW / 224 PS), mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. In any case, the 4×4 emblem suggests that power is transmitted to all four wheels, matching the vehicle’s rugged appearance.
