The owner of this particular Chevrolet Sonic has left no stone unturned in transforming the hatchback into something fitting of a Transformers film.

This bizarre Sonic was recently spotted in the U.S. and images of it were shared by Reddit user Native CSGO. It has been equipped with all kinds of miscellaneous parts that transform its exterior design and make the bold aero parts that Honda fitted to the Civic Type R look subdued, and that’s saying something.

Found at the front of the Sonic is a splitter that appears to be made from wood and red plastic tubing that stretches up towards the grille. Speaking of the grille, it has been repainted green and silver pieces of trim have been added to the bumper. The hatchback also features a completely useless bulge on the hood and two small hood scoops, also painted red. Oh, there’s also a ‘Bad Boy’ plate on the corner of the bumper – you can’t leave home without that.

Elsewhere, the Chevy sports red tubing stretching back from the front bumper to the base of the wing mirrors. A look at the sides reveals blue and silver skirts, chrome trimmings around the window frames, and a gold Autobot sticker. The car also features aftermarket wheels and flared front and rear wheel arches.

The rear-end is just as bizarre as the front and the sides and includes a towering wing with uprights that stretch down to the taillights. There also appears to be a striking diffuser and a plethora of red and bold add-ons.

Suffice to say, the finished car certainly isn’t to our tastes but what do you think of it?
