If you want to get a fast Corvette fix but aren’t willing to wait a couple of years to take delivery of a C8 Z06, this low-mileage 2014 Corvette Stingray might do the trick.

The C7-generation Corvette represents the pinnacle of front-engined American sports cars and to this day, remains an excellent driver’s car. This particular C7 has been listed up for sale on Bring A Trailer and is different from most others as it has been modified by Hennessey Performance.

Powering the car is a 6.2-liter V8 engine but the previous owner had it equipped with Hennessey’s HPE700 package that added a Procharger P-1SC-1 supercharger, an air-to-air intercooler, CNC ported cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, long-tube stainless steel headers, custom intake, a unique Hennessey engine management calibration, and a double-helix X-pipe exhaust with catalytic converters. This resulted in output being lifted from the stock model’s 460 hp to 700 hp.

The listing notes that the color adorning the car is dubbed Laguna Blue Tintcoat. It sits on chrome 19-inch front and 20-inch rear five twin-spoke wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Found in the cabin is a mix of Brownstone leather with contrast stitching, suede microfiber inserts, black leather accents, and carbon fiber trim on the dashboard and center console. This car is also one of just 100 examples of the HPE700 that Hennessey produced for the 2014 model year and one of 500 Premiere Edition C7s.

While one would think the original owner had the car modified by Hennessey so they could experience the joy of 240 extra horses, the car has been driven just 1,500 miles (2,414 km), meaning the modified powertrain has barely been broken in.
