Mitsubishi Ralliart Accessory Range Announced In Japan For SUVs and MPVs

Mitsubishi has made available a wide range of Ralliart-branded accessories for the Outlander PHEV, Eclipse Cross, RVR (ASX), and Delica D:5 in the Japanese market. The cosmetic touches are identical to the Ralliart Style concept cars unveiled two months ago at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022, inspired by the rich motorsport heritage of Mitsubishi.

All four models use a White Diamond exterior paint combined with black alloy wheels and Black Mica roof on the Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross as a base of the Ralliart accessories. The add-ons include red-painted splitters / skid plates, side sill extensions, and mud-flaps, with extra rear spoilers, diffusers, and faux inlets adding a sporty flavor into the mix. The models also benefit from a set of red stickers on the profile featuring the Ralliart logo.

Finally, Mitsubishi is offering Ralliart-branded floor mats and garnish stickers to bring a little bit of Ralliart magic inside the cabin, alongside a series of accessories for the owners including key fobs, wallet, card case, jackets, towel, cap, and even a reusable mask for coronavirus with adjustable ear straps.

The cost for the accessories varies depending on the model, but the two-piece or three-piece skid plate garnish ranges between ¥101,706 – 177,870 ($860 – $1,500), the rear spoiler costs between ¥ 43,560 – 72,072 ($370 – $607), the mud flaps cost between ¥ 40,722 – 43,362 ($345 – $365), and the floor mats will cost you anywhere between ¥ 36,432 – 118,338 ($310 – $1,000). Naturally, the fashion items are cheaper with the red fleece jacket selling for ¥ 9,900 ($83), the Ralliart-branded cap priced at ¥ 3,300 ($28), and the leather-carbon wallet for ¥ 8,800 ($74). The reusable mask is among the cheapest items priced at ¥1,980 ($17).

Ralliart’s comeback was announced last year, with the initial excitement being let down by the fact that its brand name was only used for sporty-looking bits and not in performance variants of Mitsubishi models.

However, besides the accessories, the company did unveil a promising concept car at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022, the Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart. The Outlander-based concept featured an aggressive bodykit, 22-inch wheels, and a tuned PHEV powertrain with “higher motor output, sportier 4-wheel control tuning, and enhanced battery capacity”. The model was presented as a concept study with no info whether a similar offering could find its way into production in the future.
