Mitsubishi has unveiled the complete range of vehicles that will be exhibited in the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022, including “Ralliart Style” variants of their SUVs, plus several concept cars showcasing the sporty, adventurous, or environmental friendly nature of each model.

Starting with the Ralliart-branded models, the range is crowned by the Vision Ralliart Concept which we covered earlier as a performance-focused SUV based on the Outlander PHEV. Mitsubishi also introduced the “Ralliart Style” trims of the Eclipse Cross and Outlander, showcasing a range of Ralliart accessories.

Both of them are painted in White Diamond that is combined with red accents on the bumper extensions and mudflaps, sporty side decals, and black color for the alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and mirror caps. Despite proudly wearing the Ralliart logo, those visually distinguished variants don’t include any performance upgrades.

Moving on, the Outlander Wild Adventure Style and the Delica D:5 Tough x Tough are fitted with accessories focused on off-road driving and camping. The Outlander Wild Adventure Style is more of an exhibition vehicle, featuring sidebars, bumper protectors, a roof carrier, a trailer hitch, and camping gear designed in collaboration with Japanese outdoor brand Ogawa.

The Delica D:5 Tough x Tough gets a suspension lift, 16-inch wheels shod in all-terrain tires, bumper guards, extra LEDs, and mud flaps. The Black Mica body color is combined with matte black and red accents, plus Ralliart side decals. The tuned MPV can sleep up to four people thanks to a retractable rooftop tent and a sleeping pad that transforms the second- and third-row seats into a double bed.

The K-EV concept X Style might be a concept car at this stage, but it closely previews the new generation of Mitsubishi’s fully electric kei car developed in collaboration with Nissan. According to the company, the exterior is inspired by SUVs, although the design looks identical to the Mitsubishi ek X from last year. The concept is visually distinguished by a two-tone body combining solid matte blue and copper, plus X-shaped logos. The EV is also equipped with advanced ADAS and connectivity features.

Last but not least, the Minicab-MiEV B-Leisure Style is a fully electric kei car that can act as a source of power supply during camping – as noted by the white decals on the moss green body and the ivory-colored roof. The MiEV Power Box allows passengers to use the energy from the van’s battery to power electronics and appliances (kettle, coffee maker, laptop, etc.), while the car awning, camping table, and folding cot create the perfect setup for emissions-free camping. The interior is fully flat, accumulating a low table, a seat chair, and a rug, and is designed for remote working.

Mitsubishi will be showcasing the aforementioned seven vehicles at the Tokyo Auto Salon booth between January 14 and 16.
