The popular model has sold over 100,000 vehicles annually in the U.S. for eight consecutive years, so the new generation has some large shoes to fill. The design is evolutionary but brings the RX up to date, with an upright aesthetic upfront and a streamlined rear section. Replacing the 3.5-liter V6 is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, while the RX 350h features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired to a fourth-generation hybrid system and a standard all-wheel-drive system.

Almost five years after the debut of the Mercedes-AMG Project One concept, we finally get to see the Mercedes-AMG One in its final production form. It features 1,049 hp (782 kW / 1,063 PS) from a 1.6-liter powertrain heavily developed from the team’s Formula 1 program. There are few changes from the original concept, but they include a massive diffuser that houses a triple array of exhaust pipes, removable carbon-fiber engine covers that integrate large NACA air intakes, and larger wing mirrors.

Europe on the other hand, gets a range of powertrain options, including a three-cylinder with front-wheel drive, mild-hybrid options, and diesel. Meanwhile, the 2023 BMW iX1 is the first all-wheel-drive EV from BMW to compete in the premium compact segment and outputs 313 hp and up to 364 lb-ft (494 Nm) of torque and a range between 413 km (256 miles) and 438 km (272 miles).

Peugeot has teased its upcoming crossover fastback, confirming the 408 name’s return. The automaker says that the new 408 is “a new species of Peugeot,” which “combines the characteristic codes of SUVs with a dynamic Fastback silhouette.” That fits earlier spy shots, with prototypes combining increased ground clearance with a heavily inclined roofline and an extended rear overhang.
