Now that Toyota has finally returned a manual transmission to the Supra it got us wondering what a previous generation Supra with a stick might go for. Luckily, this 1998 example is up for grabs with low mileage and some desirable modification. Of course, it’s going to cost you a lot more than any 2023 GR Supra will.

Arguably, the MKIV Supra is the most influential of its entire lineage. The 1998 example seen here has just 18k miles on the odometer and its condition both inside and out reflects that low-mileage lifestyle. It’s finished in Quicksilver Metallic paint and that alone makes it one of just 24 manually-equipped Supras ever built.

Of course, the MKIV Supra is one of the most desirable Toyotas if not one of the most desirable Japanese sports cars ever regardless of paint color. This one, in particular, has a few modifications but they seem to be tasteful and far from uncouth.

A large Precision turbocharger rests under the hood now as does an upgraded GREDDY intercooler, HKS exhaust headers, and a ProEFI engine management system. Horsepower or torque are not stated though we expect it’s somewhere beyond the factory-rated 276 hp (205 kW) that this car originally had.

The car comes with a bevy of original factory parts that could be used to return the Supra to near-factory condition should the new owner wish to do so. Regardless of what they decide to do, it’s clear that they’re getting a rare vehicle.

Unless Toyota goes out on a limb in the future, this will likely remain as the last Supra ever built completely by the Japanese manufacturer. Considering how low the mileage is on this one and how well-maintained the interior is, driving it might feel a bit like hopping back in time.

As of this writing, this Supra has a top bid of $135,000 with about two days to go until the hammer falls. There’s some argument in the comment section about the car’s history. Some are worried that the car has been heavily modified in the past, which makes us wonder if that’ll stop it from going for considerably more than its current top bid.
