Biden Open To Discuss EV Subsidies For South Korean-Made Cars

America’s inflation reduction act has changed the way EV subsidies are applied in a way that disadvantages multiple brands — particularly foreign ones. South Korea has taken particular issue with the new federal tax incentives, and now President Biden has said he’s open to talks on the matter. “We assess that President Biden reaffirmed his understanding of our concerns through a personally signed letter… it shows Biden’s willingness to be considerate towards South Korean companies in the future,” a South Korean official told Reuters.

The Prologue EV has been developed in conjunction with GM and as such, rides on what appears to be the bones of the Chevrolet Blazer. Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso Edition Is A Limited Run Special Celebrating F1 Driver’s Wins

Alpine’s A110 R has been followed up by a new special edition in tribute to none other than two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso — a bit awkward considering he’s off to Aston Martain at the end of the season, but perhaps a fitting parting gift. There will be only 32 made, each one celebrating one of the Spaniard’s wins. The upgrades are mostly cosmetic, in addition to the 5 percent stiffer adjustable suspension.

Foxconn’s Pininfarina-Designed Model B Could Steal Tesla’s Thunder In The Small Segment

The Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) Model B has been teased by Italian design-house Pininfarina, with the compact EV sedan looking like a dynamic mix of an SUV crossed with a hatchback. There are full-width LED headlights surrounding the grille up front, a modern bumper intake, and soft cladding finished in glossy black, matching C-pillars, and aero-style wheels. We can also get a good look at the taillights, with the lower units doubling as screens that communicate with other road users. The final product will be revealed on October 18 and could be a rival to Tesla’s long-mooted $25,000 offering.

With only three wheels on her wagon, one Californian driver was spotted driving an Audi down a freeway with significant front-end damage, and sparks flying from the remnants of a brake disc and caliper that were dragging along the road. The woman seems oblivious when the cammer pulls up next to her and tries to flag her down. Later on, the Audi allegedly hit another vehicle at an intersection. The woman eventually claims she was recently diagnosed with cancer, and that could potentially explain her state of mind, although the video ends shortly after police arrive.
