Bosch Settles Californian Diesel Cheating Probe For $25 Million Without Admitting Anything

Bosch will pay California the hefty sum of $25 million as a settlement for a probe into the company’s role in emissions cheating scandals. In doing so the company will not admit liability or guilt, and Bosch is now required to inform California of any automaker that has used software or will use it to evade emissions rules.


2024 Volvo EX90 Is A Polestar 3 Electric SUV Dressed For A Court Appearance

The future of Volvo will be electric, and the EX90 will take its place as the brand’s flagship BEV SUV. It gets a dual-motor, all-wheel drive drivetrain that offers a claimed 373 miles (600 km) of range and bi-directional charging that lets customers send energy back to the grid. Two versions will be offered at launch, one with 408 hp (414 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque, and a performance model with 510 hp (517 PS) and 671 lb-ft (910 Nm) for a 0–62 mph (100 km/h) time of 4.9 seconds. Both will be fitted with a 107 kWh battery that can use 250 kW DC charging to fill from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes.


Volvo Appears To Tease An Entry-Level Electric SUV For 2023

At the end of the EX90 live stream, Volvo decided to tease us with what looks to be a future model reveal. The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment showed what looks to be a small crossover is shown alongside its EX90 counterpart. While we only get a glimpse of the model, it’s notably smaller than the EX90.


Porsche Confirms Dakar Name For Go-Anywhere 911, Launches Nov 16

The Los Angeles Auto Show will play host to the launch of a very special all-wheel drive 911 Carrera, dubbed the 911 Dakar. More details will be revealed at launch, but Porsche did at least release pictures of the prototypes testing in the grueling conditions of  Dubai, Sweden, Morocco, and the Château de Lastours test track in southern France.

With a new Fiat 500 comes the hotter Abarth version, and although its reveal was teased earlier this week, thanks to images shared by Carzturbo on Instagram, we now have a clear look at what it’ll look like. The souped-up electric hot hatchback features a new front spoiler, different wheels, black mirrors, and deeper side skirts.


Morgan Gets Modern, Gives Plus Four And Six Stability Control And Airbags

Morgan’s Plus Four and Six roadsters are the epitome of suave, classic styling with just a hint of modernity under the hood. Despite the classic styling, they sport sophisticated bonded aluminum chassis and modern BMW engines. However, they had been lacking some of the more modern active and passive safety features, at least until now. From January 2023, all Plus Four and Six models will feature electronic stability control and two airbags, in addition to more powerful AP Racing brakes.

Adidas To Continue Selling Yeezy Designs Without Branding 

German sportswear maker Adidas will continue to sell shoes that were designed in collaboration with Kanye West. But, having split with the rapper after his antisemitic tweets, they will no longer be sold under the Yeezy brand. According to Forbes, the now-terminated contract was worth around $1.5bn (£1.3bn).


Twitter’s Second Checkmark Has Gone Already 

Twitter introduced a second checkmark as part of Elon Musk’s strategy to make blue ticks part of a paid subscription. However, the second grey check mark labels that appeared under celebrities and organizations were soon gone within the day. Elon Musk later tweeted that he “just killed it.”
