Variety is the spice of life and it continues to be the Lexus NX’s forte as the 2024 model will be offered with four-different powertrains including hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

Since the crossover was redesigned for 2022, this year’s updates are minor and include a lightly revised interior.  In particular, Black, Black with Rich Cream, Palomino, and Rioja Red cabins add “color-keyed elements to the glove box and passenger side center console.”  Circuit Red and Black/Rich Cream interiors are similar, but they gain new color-keyed accents on the door panels.

Furthermore, the F Sport Luxury package on the NX 350 can now be ordered with either a moonroof or panoramic glass roof.  Lexus didn’t go into specifics, but last year’s package included F Sport heated and ventilated front seats, a 14-inch Lexus Interface system, thematic ambient lighting, and a power liftgate with a kick sensor – among other things.

While the updates are barely worth mentioning, pricing has climbed from $39,755 to $40,205 for the entry-level NX 250.  It features a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine developing 203 hp (149 kW / 206 PS) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which can be backed up by an optional all-wheel drive system.

The 2024 NX 350 comes standard with all-wheel drive and it starts at $43,965 for an increase of $450.  It sports a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 275 hp (202 kW / 279 PS) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque.

The NX 350h starts at $43,805 and it has a hybridized 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as well as an electric motor that powers the rear wheels.  This setup gives the crossover a combined output of 240 hp (179 kW / 243 PS) and a combined fuel economy rating of 39 mpg.

Lastly, there’s the range-topping NX 450h+ which starts at $58,655 for an increase of $950.  It echoes the 350h and features a plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a 2.5-liter engine, a rear-mounted electric motor, and what sounds like a carryover 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.   While the model isn’t cheap, it has 302 hp (222 kW / 306 PS) and an electric-only range of 37 miles (60 km).
