Ford has released full pricing details for the Mustang Mach-E in the Australian market prior to the electric crossover landing in showrooms before the end of the year.

As we learned a few days ago, the local Mustang Mach-E range will start with the Select. It’s priced at AU$79,990 (equal to $54,094 at current exchange rates) and comes standard with a 71 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery that drives an electric motor at the rear wheels with 198 kW (266 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. Ford quotes a range figure of up to 470 km (292 miles).

A host of features come standard on the Mustang Mach-E Select. For example, there is a 15.5-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, B&O sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, wireless phone charging, and seats clad in artificial leather. Ford has also equipped it with 19-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof.
