The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ makes one heck of a statement, but the brand isn’t finished as more electric vehicles are on the horizon.

Speaking at a preview event in Metro Detroit last week, Global Cadillac Vice President John Roth confirmed two more EVs will be introduced before the end of the year.

Roth didn’t elaborate, but one of the models is likely the Optiq that was recently revealed by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The crossover slots beneath the Lyriq as it’s 6.9 inches (175 mm) shorter and has 5.5 inches (140 mm) less between the wheels.

The Chinese-spec model is slated to have electric motors with outputs of 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 241 hp (180 kW / 245 PS). The latter should enable the crossover to hit a top speed of up to 112 mph (180 km/h).

The other EV is more mysterious, but a three-row crossover was recently spied undergoing testing alongside the Escalade IQ. It’s expected to serve as an XT6 successor and be more accessible than the flagship SUV, which is slated to cost around $130,000.

Little is known about it, but the three-row crossover will likely be heavily influenced by the smaller Lyriq. That particular model has a 102 kWh battery pack, which can be paired with rear- or all-wheel drive. The latter packs 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque.
