- This special Mono R is finished in burgundy-tinted carbon fiber with gold accents.
- The track-focused machine rides on distinctive 17-inch carbon fiber wheels.
- Power is provided by a 2.5-liter Ford Duratec four-cylinder with 343 hp and 243 lb-ft.
This could very well be the brightest and most flamboyant BAC Mono R in existence, and it’s now up for sale. This particular model is the potent Mono R version and was ordered by YouTuber and Twitch streamer Jordan Maron, also known as CaptainSparklez. He took delivery of it in late 2023 and is parting ways with the track-focused machine after covering just 1,100 miles (1,770 km).
While I’ve never had the privilege of driving a Mono R, I imagine it’s an incredibly intoxicating and addictive experience. Evidently, Maron has had enough of the car, and while that’s his loss, it’s someone else’s gain. It’s being auctioned off with a clear Carfax report and a clean California title.

Like many other manufacturers of exclusive, high-end automobiles, BAC offers its customers the choice of several ways to personalize their cars. CaptainSparklez opted to have the bodywork of his Mono R made from burgundy-tinted carbon fiber with a bright gold livery. The gold elements continue across the side-mounted air intake pod and the customized 17-inch OZ Racing carbon fiber wheels.
Now, the Mono R’s cabin is, let’s say, a bit tight. It’s a no-frills, stripped-down driving experience, which doesn’t leave much room for customization. But what it lacks in space, it makes up for in style. The car features gold contrast stitching and, of course, plenty of gorgeous carbon fiber. As an added bonus, you’ll get a matching burgundy helmet with golden accents to complete the package.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.5-liter Ford Duratec four-cylinder engine, tuned to deliver 343 hp and 243 lb-ft (330 Nm) of torque. This means the Mono R rockets from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds – and no, that’s not a typo.
This track-ready machine can lap circuits faster than most supercars or hypercars, some of which pack twice, or even three times, the power. It’s a pure driving experience, stripped down to the essentials, with very little standing between you and the road. If you want to take your driving thrills to the next level, this is the machine to do it in.
If you’re in the market for a new track toy (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), head on over to Bring a Trailer to place your bid over here. Your future self will thank you.
