2026 is a big year for America as it marks the country’s 250th anniversary. While Stellantis is the exclusive automotive sponsor of America250, Chevrolet is getting in on the action with the new Stars & Steel Collection.
Designed to celebrate patriotism and American craftsmanship, the lineup consists of the Corvette, Colorado, Silverado, Silverado HD, and Silverado EV. All five of them are “proudly assembled” in the United States, unlike the upcoming Chrysler America250 edition, which will be made in Canada.
Corvette
Without further ado, let’s check out the lineup, starting with the Stars & Steel Corvette. It will be offered with an Arctic White or Black exterior sporting American Flag-inspired full-length stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black.
They’ll be accompanied by black exhaust tips and “250” graphics on the doors and spoiler. The special edition will also have Gloss Black, Carbon Flash, or Carbon Fiber wheels that contrast with Edge Red calipers.
The Santorini Blue or Adrenaline Red interior will have special sill plates and a numbered plaque. Certain versions will also have red seat belts and floor mats with red contrast stitching.
Production will be limited to 250 units, and the package will be offered on all models, ranging from the Stingray to the ZR1X. However, it will be limited to 3LT/3LZ trims.
Colorado
The Colorado Stars & Steel Edition will be based on the Trail Boss Crew Cab and have a Black or Summit White exterior. They’ll have similar graphics to the Corvette as well as dark badging and gloss black 20-inch wheels. Other highlights include a black exhaust tip, red tow hooks, and a Midnight Package with a sport bar and lights.
Buyers will also find a spray-on bedliner, a soft bed cover, and rocker bars. Other highlights include four-wheel drive, skid plates, and extra equipment.
Silverado 1500
The Silverado 1500 Stars & Steel is based on the RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD with the 6.2-liter V8 engine. It features a Black or Summit White exterior with the aforementioned graphics as well as 22-inch gloss black wheels. The latter are backed up by a Brembo braking system with red six-piston calipers up front.
The model also has black exhaust tips, side steps, and a bed cover. They’re joined by a performance air intake, a bedliner, and extra equipment, including a sunroof.
Silverado HD
The Silverado HD Stars & Steel is based on the LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD and features a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine. It’s offered in black or white with familiar graphics, a bedliner, and 20-inch wheels. The model also has a number of packages, including the Z71 Off-Road Package, the LTZ Convenience Package II, and the Max Trailering Package – just to name a few.
Silverado EV
Lastly, there’s the Silverado EV Stars & Steel Edition. It’s based on the RST Crew Cab and echoes the aforementioned models. However, it sports 24-inch wheels, black badging, and an all-new Brembo braking system. The latter has larger 15.7-inch discs as well as six-piston front calipers in red.
Stars & Steel Appearance Pack
Since five special editions clearly weren’t enough, Chevrolet also announced a Stars & Steel appearance package. Designed for the company’s popular line of trucks, it adds Satin Silver or Satin Black stripes and “250” graphics.
One-Off Corvette ZR1X To Be Auctioned
Continuing our descent into madness, Chevrolet announced plans to auction a “one of one” 2026 Corvette ZR1X at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Winter Auction on January 24. It features a Stars and Steel-inspired design, and 100% of the hammer price will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Production of the special editions is scheduled to begin next spring, and for each vehicle sold, Chevrolet will donate $250 to nonprofits that support veterans.
