- The 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid starts at $46,490.
- It costs $2,330 more than its Hyundai counterpart.
- Three-row crossover has 329 hp and returns 35 mpg.
The 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid recently went into production in West Point, Georgia, and the company has now revealed pricing will start at $46,490 before a $1,545 destination charge. That’s $7,300 more than the regular base model, $2,700 more than the equivalent EX with the standard powertrain, and a $2,330 premium over the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid.
At current average US gas prices of about $3.18 per gallon, and assuming 14,000 miles of driving per year, which is the average for American drivers, the 329 hp hybrid Telluride’s 35 mpg rating would save about 138.5 gallons of fuel, or $440 annually, compared to the 26 mpg, 274 hp gasoline EX model. At that rate, it would take you a little over six years to offset the $2,700 price difference through fuel savings alone.

Beyond the numbers, the hybrid lineup mirrors the standard Telluride’s familiar trim structure. Kicking things off is the entry-level Telluride Hybrid EX, which features LED lighting units, acoustic front glass, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The model also comes equipped with roof rails, a sunroof, and “light metal” accents.
Moving inside, buyers will find a nicely equipped cabin with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and an eight-speaker audio system. The crossover also sports heated and ventilated front seats wrapped in SynTex upholstery.
Other highlights include second-row captain’s chairs, a dual wireless smartphone charger, and a tri-zone climate control system. They’re joined by an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a 115V outlet in the cargo area.
An assortment of driver assistance systems come standard, including Highway Driving Assist 1.5 and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. These popular systems are joined by Blind Spot Collision Warning, High Beam Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, and Forward Collision Avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection as well as junction turning.
The model also has Parking Distance Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Following Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist. Rounding out the highlights are Safe Exit Assist and a Rear View Monitor with dynamic parking guidance.
Telluride Hybrid SX
The $51,490 SX goes a step further as it features LED fog lights and larger 20-inch wheels. The model also comes equipped with a dual sunroof and satin chrome accents.
Inside, there’s a fancier digital instrument cluster and a 14-speaker Meridian premium audio system with a subwoofer. They’re accompanied by a 74-color ambient lighting system, stainless steel pedals and scuff plates, and HomeLink. The model also has an upgraded driver’s seat with 10-way power adjustment and a memory function.
Kia throws in a handful of extra driver assistance systems including a Blind-Spot View Monitor, a Surround View Monitor, and Parking Collision Avoidance-Reverse. They’re joined by Highway Driving Assist 2.0 and additional Forward Collision Avoidance functions.
Telluride Hybrid X-Line SX
The all-wheel drive-only X-Line SX begins at $54,490 and features a lightly revised exterior with bridge-style roof rails and 21-inch wheels. The model also sports a heated steering wheel as well as a combination of gloss black and matte black exterior accents.
Telluride Hybrid SX Prestige
The $56,590 SX Prestige dials things back with satin chrome trim, low-profile roof rails, and smaller 20-inch wheels. However, it adds rain-sensing wipers and acoustic second-row side glass.
The interior gets a significant upgrade as the model sports SynTex suede seats as well as a SynTex suede headliner. They’re joined by engineered wood trim, a digital rearview mirror, and digital key technology. Buyers will also find a heads-up display as well as heated and ventilated second-row seats.
Telluride Hybrid X-Line SX Prestige
Last but not least is the range-topping X-Line SX Prestige, which begins at $57,590. As the name suggests, it blends elements from the aforementioned X-Line SX and SX Prestige trims.
This means buyers will find the aforementioned equipment as well as 21-inch wheels and a bridge-style roof rack. The model also sports gloss black and matte black accents.
A Hybrid Heart
Regardless of which trim is selected, all have a hybrid powertrain that combines a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a 1.65 kWh lithium-ion battery, a six-speed automatic transmission, and electric motors. This setup gives the Telluride Hybrid a combined output of 329 hp (245 kW / 334 PS) and 339 lb-ft (459 Nm) of torque. This should enable the crossover to return up to 35 mpg combined.
