• Rezvani’s seventh Vengeance build is based on the Cadillac Escalade.
  • The exterior is armored heavily enough to withstand incoming gunfire.
  • A Starlight headliner borrows directly from the Rolls-Royce playbook.

It’s been several years since Rezvani shocked the world with its Cadillac Escalade-based Vengeance, and much to our surprise, buyers have actually lined up for it. The American firm has now released images of its seventh build, and while the exterior remains wildly over the top, it’s the cabin that ends up stealing the show.

A normal Escalade can turn plenty of heads, particularly if specced right. However, cars from Rezvani are designed to attract attention from a mile away, and that’s exactly what the Vengeance does. Adorned with bespoke bodywork, it looks like something straight out of a sci-fi film.

Finished in matte grey, the vehicle’s Cadillac origins are completely unrecognizable. The front includes new headlights, a grille, tow hooks, skid plates, and a custom hood that looks like it was designed by a 12-year-old on a sugar-only diet. There are also flared wheel arches and thick armor plating, ensuring the vehicle can withstand gunfire.

Rezvani Motors backs up the look with hardware to match. It rides on military-style runflat tires, with reinforced suspension and a thermal night-vision system. There are also electrified door handles, a smoke screen setup, and an intercom.

A Jet On Wheels

Based purely on the design of the SUV’s exterior, you could be excused for thinking the cabin was stripped back and militarized, as if this thing were a road-going tank. That’s not the case. Instead, it almost looks like the cabin of a luxurious private jet, sporting a pair of leather-clad captain’s chairs and two smaller seats that can fold up and are positioned on the front bulkhead.

There’s a large fridge in between the seats to store the owner’s favorite wine and champagne, as well as a huge screen and iPads incorporated into the side panels. The Vengeance also includes a Starlight headliner, just like a Rolls-Royce, and is trimmed in loads of high-end wood. The overall cabin design shows its age in places, but the sense of luxury is not in question.

So you end up with something that appears built for conflict, but behaves more like a very expensive way to avoid it.
