Starting from January 2008, Toyota will enhance its European line-up with the addition of the the all-new Auris SR180. Just to set things clear, the SR180 is in no way a successor to the Corolla TS. The SR180 is powered 2.2-litre D-4D diesel engine that generates 175bhp and a maximum 400Nm of torque from 2,000rpm. Power is driven to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The top-notch Auris sprints from nought to 62mph (100 km/h) in 8.1 seconds, while the D-4D engine’s fuel efficiency returns an official 38.0 mpg (6.2 lt/100 km) in combined cycle driving. -Continued after the jump
