• Genesis has introduced the 2027 GV70 Prestige Graphite.
  • Sports gloss black mirrors, dark chrome trim, and 21-inch wheels.
  • Cabin features carbon fiber trim and Nappa leather seats.

Genesis has used the New York Auto Show to introduce the 2027 GV70 Prestige Graphite. It follows the G70 variant and is billed as a dark and sporty trim.

The automaker said surprisingly little about the crossover, but it’s presumably based on the GV70 Sport Prestige. Regardless, the model features a lightly revised exterior with dark chrome trim and gloss black mirror caps. It also rides on a stylish set of 21-inch alloy wheels that feature a dark metallic finish that contrasts with red brake calipers.

The Prestige Graphite will be offered in four different colors including two new hues known as Bering Blue and Ceres Blue Matte. Customers can also get Makalu Gray or Uyuni White.

The upgrades continue inside as the cabin has Ultramarine Nappa leather seats with suede inserts as well as headrests with embossed Genesis logos. They’re joined by carbon fiber trim as well as a unique start up animation. We can also see red contrast stitching and piping as well as what appears to be a suede headliner.

Genesis declined to mention powertrain details, but the GV70 offers a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque. Customers can also get a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 developing 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm).

Pricing and availability will be announced closer to launch, but the G70 Prestige Graphite sits at the top of the range and starts at $56,900. This suggests the GV70 variant could cost around $60,000 or $72,000, depending on which engine is used.
