• Acura has unveiled a retro ‘dealership’ at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
  • It was home to a classic Integra and Legend as well as old school gear.
  • Display was built as part of festivities marking Acura’s 40th anniversary.

Acura’s future is looking pretty bleak as the company recently axed the RSX and is preparing to put the RDX on a temporary hiatus. If that wasn’t bad enough, they’ve killed the TLX and ZDX.

Those are serious setbacks, but 2026 marks the brand’s 40th anniversary. As a result, they’re celebrating despite plenty of headwinds.

As part of the festivities, Acura transformed the atrium at the Long Beach Grand Prix into a dealership straight out of 1986. The company didn’t say much about the effort, but they literally rolled out the red carpet for the classic Integra and Legend.

They were joined by retro signage and displays as well as a classic red, white, and blue color scheme. Another highlight was an Acura-themed arcade game that promised to be a “precision crafted performance simulator.”

Elsewhere, we can see a ‘wall’ of old school TVs and VHS tapes as well as a strangely out of place advertisement for SiriusXM satellite radio. That company didn’t exist until 2008, making its appearance at the display 22 years too early. On the bright side, the company offered some cool merchandise.

Some of those items appear to be available online as the Honda Driver Gear store has a 40th anniversary t-shirt for $24.75. That being said, the Integra shirt shown in the video isn’t offered as of this writing.

Earlier this year, Acura celebrated the milestone by unveiling the Integra 40 Racer. Billed as a tribute to honor the Comptech Integra No. 48 race car that won the IMSA International Sedan Series Manufacturers’ and Drivers’ Championships, the model sports a rebuilt engine, a limited slip differential, and a custom Borla exhaust.
