• The Shelby Ford F-150 Baja Raptor is also offered in V6 guise with 555 hp.
  • A 3.8-liter supercharger boosts the flagship Raptor R to over 1,000 hp.
  • Both Shelby models include 3-year / 36,000-mile warranties in the US.

Shelby has spent decades taking fast Fords and pushing them somewhere past reason, and the 2026 F-150 Raptor and Raptor R are the latest trucks to get the treatment. Both gain power, both gain a stack of off-road hardware, and the result sits in territory Ram hasn’t been willing to chase with anything in its truck lineup.

The build begins with the Baja Raptor, which starts life as the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6. Shelby adds a fresh air intake, a Borla exhaust, and an aluminum intercooler, then reworks the ECU. The V6 now makes 555 hp once the work is done.

If this model isn’t enough, Shelby has also launched a Baja version of the F-150 Raptor R. In this case, the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 has been upgraded with a billet throttle body, a performance air intake, a dual-core intercooler, and a new 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, resulting in “well over 1,000 hp.” To put that into perspective, the regular Raptor R delivers 720 hp.

It Looks The Part, Too

For Nearly $200,000, Shelby’s Raptor R Makes More Power Than Most Supercars

A host of exterior changes have been made to the duo. Chief among them are new 18-inch wheels with 37-inch BFGoodrich mud terrain tires. A lift kit has also been added, as have power deployable running boards, new fender flares, and a steel front bumper from Addictive Desert Designs, complete with a large LED light bar. A Shelby chase rack has been added to the bed, complete with nine LED pod off-roading lights. Add in some colorful graphics, and you get one hell of an eye-catching F-150.

Rounding out the changes are some interior tweaks, including billet racing pedals, carbon fiber accents, a serial-numbered plaque, embroidered floor mats, and leather seat covers.

Both the F-150 Baja Raptor and Baja Raptor R models from Shelby come with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty and retain the original Ford powertrain warranty for added peace of mind. The V6-powered model is available from $146,795, while the Raptor R starts from $194,795.
