- Jeep has revealed additional details about the 2027 Grand Cherokee.
- Trailhawk and Overland return, and are joined by a new Upland trim.

Jeep announced the return of the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Overland in June, and now the company has detailed the rest of the changes for 2027. They’re relatively minor, but include additional equipment and larger displays.
The big news is the introduction of a Laredo Upland trim, which features Trailhawk-inspired styling and a touch more capability. As part of the makeover, the model has been equipped with a Trailhawk-style front fascia, Vapor Gray tow hooks, and 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Rounding out the highlights are “dark neutral gray” exterior accents, and an upscale interior with Capri leatherette and suede seats.

Elsewhere in the lineup, the 2027 Grand Cherokee Laredo and Laredo X adopt a new 10.1-inch infotainment system. It replaces the previous 8.4-inch display and should help the model feel a tad more modern.
Speaking of the Laredo and Laredo X, they ride on new 18-inch wheels as does the Laredo Altitude. Laredo shoppers will also find a newly available Wicker Beige interior.
Grand Cherokee Laredo Upland
The Grand Cherokee Limited kicks things up a notch as it now comes equipped with rain-sensing wipers, a wireless smartphone charger, and restyled 20-inch wheels. The Limited Reserve also adds automatic power-folding mirrors.
Buyers will find several new colors including Ember, Ghost, High Gloss Black, Midnight Sky, Olive Green, Red Hot, Red Rock, and Sting Gray.
Engine options carryover and include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 293 hp (218 kW / 297 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. Higher-end variants have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder developing 324 hp (242 kW / 329 PS) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm).
The 2027 Jeep Grand Cherokee will arrive at dealerships late this year and pricing starts at $41,515 including a $1,995 destination charge. That’s $600 more than its predecessor, but it has a 20% larger infotainment system.
