It’s been more than two decades since the Bugatti Veyron redefined the supercar industry, and through its La Maison Pur Sang division, the firm can now comprehensively restore and revive old Veyrons. That’s exactly what it’s done with this one, which debuted last week in Monterey and is fittingly known as the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years.
In bringing this Veyron into the modern era, Bugatti has refinished the exterior in a combination of Rouge Rembrant red, a color developed for the Tourbillon, and Petrol Blue, lifted from the Chiron. Bugatti has also designed new 3D mesh for the horseshoe grille as well as the front, side, and rear intakes.

Then there are the wheels. The Veyron’s wheel-and-tire package was completely bespoke. Given the forces generated at the car’s top speed, the tires had to be glued to the wheels, making replacements exorbitantly expensive. Bugatti solved this issue with the Chiron, so no glue is required, and tire replacements are far cheaper. This Veyron now sports larger 20- and 21-inch wheels than it originally did, meaning it can also use tires in the same dimensions as the Chiron.
The French car brand also worked extensively on the cabin of this Veyron. It includes custom Mocassin stitching on the steering wheel and gear selector, and also sports a special 20-year Veyron emblem. There’s also all-new leather throughout, as well as a center console with a Côte de Genève finish, a wave-like striping pattern usually found only on high-end watches.
“Through the boundless creativity and world-class expertise of the artisans working at our marque’s Molsheim home, we can transform a customer’s dream into reality,” director of after-sales and customer service at Bugatti, Alexis Ploix, said. “As we often say, power is in the small details, whether it is the new wheels, tire technology, interior refinements, and modern conveniences.”
