- The Single DLS Turbo has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six with 700 hp.

- A six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive make this a real driver’s car.
For Porsche 911 enthusiasts not entirely satisfied with what the German brand is building, Singer Vehicle Design is often the place they turn to. The California firm has made a name for itself as the pre-eminent 911 restomod specialist, and its latest DLS Turbo shows just how wild its builds can be.
Each DLS Turbo from Singer is based on an original 964, which is transformed into a modern interpretation of the 934/5 race car Porsche used in the late 1970s. Once the donor car is stripped back to its bare shell, the chassis is reinforced, and Singer then begins the grueling process of fitting bespoke carbon fiber bodywork, an all-new interior, and a very special powertrain.

This DLS Turbo has been painted in Amethyst and is absolutely jaw-dropping. The front end is vastly different from any regular 964, rocking a unique bumper with a carbon fiber splitter, new LED headlights, flared arches, and a custom hood. For as wild as the front half of the DLS Turbo is, the rear is even more dramatic.
The standout feature is the new rear quarter panels, which dramatically widen the car’s width. Singer has then added a massive wing and a carbon fiber diffuser. The owner of this DLS Turbo also ordered it with a special set of center-locking magnesium wheels.
Singer has also made the cabin of this DLS Turbo feel very special. The carbon fiber bucket seats are trimmed in gorgeous Bone leather with purple, green, and blue tartan fabric accents found on the seats, door panels, and dashboard. The car even rocks a large X-shaped cross brace in the rear that’s been trimmed in matching leather. A dramatic array of carbon fiber accents is also found throughout.
An Engine To Remember
Then there’s power. Like all DLS Turbo models, this one is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six with 700 horsepower and 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque, almost matching the outputs of the new hybridized 911 Turbo S. Unlike that car, the DLS Turbo has a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
