With Fiat’s new 5-door hatch joining a very crowded C-Segment in Europe, the Italians may want to consider adding a little more pizzazz to it.

Competitors offer sporty, but not all-out hardcore, versions of their own models like the new Renault Megane GT or Peugeot 308 GT, both packing 205 PS,

Then you’ve got the likes of Kia with their improved visuals on the Cee’d GT Line, or SEAT with the 180 PS Leon FR. Not quite at the same level as the Megane or 308, but still better than anything in that mid-range.

Fiat’s new Tipo hatchback currently isn’t packing enough power to join that conversation, but with the right body kit it could reach a different customer base – which is what X-Tomi thought when he added sportier rims, black grille, window frames, bumpers and sills to the factory standard model.
