BMW Films has just released the latest trailer for its upcoming short film ‘The Escape‘ and it seems to be packing more action that we could have ever wished for.
Last month, it was confirmed that BMW Films would return with Clive Owen 15 years after the original series ‘The Hire’ was filmed by the company.
While plot details about the new short film aren’t known, it’s been confirmed that alongside Owen reprising his role as the ‘The Driver’, well-known actors John Bernthal, Dakota Fanning and Vera Vermiga will be featured. Additionally, Bruce Bildsten returns as creative director after his role in the original series.
In this short trailer, the energy and anticipation is palpable. Clearly, Owen will be going against the full might of the police and tactical units in his attempts to evade capture.
The film will debut at the BMW Films website on Sunday October 23 at 6 pm EST.
