The Ferrari FF hasn’t been on the market for more than a few months yet there’s already a case of one example catching fire.

According to reports from Germany, a 44-year old owner was out test-driving the FF on a motorway in Frankfurt in early October when he suddenly heard a “loud bang” and noticed flames coming out of the rear of the Italian supercar.

The driver then stopped over on the side of the road and saw what a €370,000 supercar getting roasted looks like.

Unlike the mid-engined Ferrari 458 Italia that was recalled last year after several cars went up in flames, the FF has the V12 powerplant mounted up front, so we’re not sure what could have caused the fire at the rear end of the car.

A Youtube user from Germany who happened to be passing by at the time of the indicent, uploaded a video that shows the FF burning on the Autobahn. You can watch it for yourself right after the break.
