Those of us who live in the so-called snow-belt regions, where roads often resemble ice-skating rinks during the winter months, have become accustomed to mishaps – so much so, that some people venture out with a camera in hand and just wait for something to happen.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan, whose residents are frequently referred to Yoopers, which is derived from “U.P.-ers”, is one of those regions where winters tend to be long, cold, and snowy – not the best combo for driving around anything on wheels.

A YouTube user nicknamed ‘Phersick’, captured one of the first mishaps of the snowy season when the driver of an old Ford Taurus Wagon lost control on a steep road but somehow managed to make the turn without any damages or injuries.

See how it worked out in the video after the jump.
