We’re going to assume that most of you reading our site will be more than familiar with the term “backseat driver“, but if you’re not, here’s the definition from Wikipedia: “A backseat driver is a vehicle passenger in the back seat who is not controlling the vehicle, and seems to be uncomfortable with the skills of the driver and/or wants to tutor the driver while the driver is at the wheel”

One Dubai tuner has taken the term to heart by building a true…backseat driver car. The tuner’s name is King of Custom from the United Arab Emirates and the car of choice was an older generation Nissan Patrol SUV.

Mind you, this isn’t just a cosmetic job, but a fully functional vehicle in which the driver controls the Patrol from the back seat.

Most useless steering conversions yet? Most definitely yes. Interesting in an idly curious fashion? Well, we think so, but do check out the photos and the video of the vehicle for yourself right below the break.
