Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is a very wealthy man, so it will come as a surprise to many that his daily driver is a humble VW Golf GTI Mk6 – with a manual transmission.

However, for those who know him, it’s no surprise at all that he didn’t go for an exotic sports car or an ultra-luxurious ride. Despite all his wealth, he’s described as a down-to-earth person that still wears jeans and a T-shirt to work and drives his GTI to the office, so kudos to him for that.

The news that he owns a Golf GTI didn’t go unnoticed at VW’s headquarters, with the German carmaker deciding to congratulate him for choosing one of its cars.

VW uploaded a video on its YouTube corporate account showing one of its representatives packing a gift for Zuckerberg.

If you’re curious to see what Volkswagen sent a guy who’s worth $19 billion (€13.9 billion), make sure you watch the following video.
