Back in the late 1990s, the BMW Group tried to resuscitate the MG Rover brand with a neo-retro executive sedan named the Rover 75 and its sportier MG ZT sibling.

Despite earning some early praise, mainly for its Rolls Royce / Bentley-esque styling package for the price of a VW, the 75 never really caught on with buyers, sending mixed signals on multiple levels, from the not bad, but not inspiring either handling to its size that positioned it between the 3-Series and the 5-Series.

The 75 would live on even after the Germans sold out to Phoenix and when the Chinese stepped in to take over the fates of the British marque.

Neither the Rover 75 nor the MG ZT were ever officially imported to the States, but apparently, some grey imports made it here, like this 2000 model that we discovered for sale in Michigan on GRAutoGallery.

The Sienna Gold colored 75 has a 177PS (175hp) 2.5-liter V6 connected to a 5-speed automatic driving the front wheels, with the odometer reading 154,741 km or 96,151 miles. The asking price is $11,900.
