Although GQ magazine’s British branch insists it took the new X6 up Mount Etna in Sicily as a test drive, their resulting short video looks like a promo for the car that BMW itself would be hard pressed to match.
They didn’t really test it per se, more so took refuge in it from the regions often inhospitable weather. The X6 doesn’t really look at home on anything other than flat tarmac, but it does seem to cope with light off-roading pretty well – there are even a couple of slow motion snow drifts in there too.
It also works as an artistic video showing off the volcano’s raw natural beauty, with the X6 being something shiny to reflect the images off.
