As soon as we saw these images, we knew this was going to become one of our all-time favorite photoshoots. It turns out that the Nissan GT-R and the island of Oahu go together perfectly.

The island of Oahu, also known as “The Gathering Place” is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands, but just happens to hold about two thirds of the population of the state of Hawaii.

It’s probably the reason why the MUTO chose to have it’s nervous breakdown there in the latest Godzilla movie. Of course, just like in the movie, Godzilla is soon to follow, only we’re partial to a certain type of mythical monster. The type that goes 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds.

We’re going to tip our hats to Hyprpwr Photography for their masterful work. The car is gorgeous and so is the panorama.

Coincidently, Oahu is also known for its Punchbowl Crater, which is an extinct volcanic cone, serving as a reminder of this region’s explosive history. Volcanic is sort of the way in which you could describe this car, both because of it’s looks as well as its performance.

We’re definitely feeling both the wide body kit as well as the custom paint job. Awesome work!
