Chris Harris was given a Mustang V8 for a few days on UK roads, to decide whether Ford has finally made the global muscle car we all dream about.
The latest Mustang generation is the first one to be offered in right-hand drive form, gaining access in the UK’s enthusiast community but more importantly is the first one to feature an independent rear axle, putting finally an end to all the excuses that surrounded the famous pony car for decades.
And let’s face it, with a sticker price of just £32,995 the Mustang V8 represents one of the most obvious bargains in the market. If the theory matches the practice, this Mustang is going to be universally loved, like no other of its predecessors.
