Ever since Audi unveiled the all-new A4 the internet was flooded with renderings of the next-generation A5 Coupe. They all had a common trait: they were very predictable.

I’m not saying these latest Audi A5 Coupe renderings from Theophilus Chin are not predictable, but in my opinion they are the best-looking so far. It’s the details that make them special. For instance, the headlights are not just taken from the new Audi A4, they are modified to look sleeker and… different.

The same goes with the rear end, where the taillights are a combination between those from the A4 sedan and the Prologue coupe concept.

Another influence from the study is the muscular rear quarter panel. I for one wouldn’t mind if Audi made the A5 Coupe like this, but given the carmaker’s recent launches, I’m afraid the real thing will look more boring.
