Polestar Improves Performance On Volvo T6 AWD Models

A new generation of Polestar Performance Optimizations is now available for Volvo’s all-wheel driven Drive-E T6 models.

Previously found only on the all-new XC90 T6 AWD, this performance bump is now available for the S60, V60 and XC60 AWD models, as long as they feature a T6 power unit. The key behind the Polestar Optimization is to include the entire powertrain in the process, instead of only one engine as it was previously done in the past.

The five most important areas of improvement were mid-range performance, faster gearshifts, better throttle response, optimized gearshift timing and off-throttle functionality.

“The already powerful and agile T6 AWD models become even more dynamic and responsive to drive with the Polestar Optimisation. We have spent countless hours on creating a balanced package for performance oriented Volvo drivers, using the same philosophy and methods as for our race and performance cars,” said Thed Bjork, racing & development driver for Polestar Cyan Racing.

As before, all engine mods are made with certified emissions, fuel consumption, service intervals and Volvo warranties unchanged.
