Bentley invited the first owners of the Bentayga to attend an exclusive handover event at the company’s headquarters in Crewe.

As part of the exclusive event, customers were also given a factory tour as Bentley celebrates their fourth model in the range and their first-ever SUV.

Each Bentayga takes more than 130 hours to be built and guests at the event had the opportunity to watch how Bentley works its magic to create the most luxurious crossover in the planet.

“The customers joining us for the event have followed the Bentayga journey since we proposed the idea of a Bentley SUV, and were among the very first in the world to put their names down on the order book for First Edition cars – many before they had even seen the finished model,” said Kevin Rose, Member of the Bentley Board for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.

Powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 engine, the Bentayga makes 608PS (600hp) and 900Nm (663lb-ft) of torque, for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.1 seconds (0-60mph in 4.0 sec) and a top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph).

The First Edition models will be limited to just 608 units globally, featuring some unique styling features like Union Jack badging, illuminated tread plates and 22-inch black painted and polished wheels among others.
