Let the glorious soundtrack of one of the greatest engines today fill your ears, thanks to this onboard video, taken on a Spa-Francorchamps trackday.

Our faith to supercar owners is partially restored after watching this owner taking his beautiful Ferrari F12 TdF to a trackday in order to safely unlock its full potential.

Powered by perhaps the greatest naturally aspirated V12 in existence, the F12 Tour de France makes 770hp at 8,500rpm and 705Nm (520lb-ft) at 6,750rpm. All this firepower is combined with a serious diet too, with the car having lost 110kg out of its weight, thanks to the liberal use of carbon-fibre and other clever solutions.

0-62mph (0-100km/h) comes now in 2.9 seconds, with 0-124mph (0-200km/h) in an -unbelievable for a road car- 7.9 seconds. Ferrari has thrown all of their tricks on the bodywork to massively improve grip levels with the kind help of physics, as it features an 87 per cent increase of downforce, with 230kg produced at 200km/h.

It’s always a pleasure watching these machines being driven on their natural habitats, especially if the person behind the wheel is for a change the owner who happens to know how to use and enjoy his car.

Crank the volume and enjoy.
