Following the petrol VTi Limited Edition and diesel DTi-L Limited Edition, Honda has expanded the CR-V lineup in Australia with the introduction of a new limited edition.

Available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, the SUV features front fog lamps, side steps, roof spoiler, parking sensors on both ends, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers and LaneWatch blind spot monitoring system, which provides the driver with a traffic view on the passenger side with a camera mounted in the side mirror.

As more newcomers join the mid-size SUV segment, the CR-V has cemented its reputation as a very compelling SUV for Honda customers. For those customers looking for something extra, the Limited Edition has the key features expected by shoppers in the market for a proven SUV“, said Stephen Collins, the brand’s local director.

The additional equipment adds AUD $5,500 (USD $4,110) of extra features for a premium of AUD $1,700 (USD $1,270) over the regular VTi automatic and makes the CR-V LE carry a starting price of AUD $32,990 (USD $24,650) for the 2WD and AUD $35,690 (USD $26,665) for the AWD version. Power still comes from a four-cylinder 2.0-liter petrol engine in the former, rated at 155 PS (153 HP) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque, while the latter uses a 2.4-liter four-banger, producing 191 PS (188 HP) and 222 Nm (164 lb-ft) of torque.
