We’ve been following the work Carlex have done on this mid 60’s Mustang since May, and now we can finally admire the finished product.

According to the tuner, the interior is a “mixture of modern and classic designs,” with materials such as black nubuck leather, chrome and even carbon fiber being used throughout the cabin.

There are lots of exquisite details you could miss if you don’t look close enough, such as the leather wrapped steering wheel column or the handcrafted silver screw caps on the steering wheel itself – which we knew were going to be there ever since Carlex first teased this project.

The exterior is of course immaculate and remains unchanged from what we previously saw – which is more than we can say for the cabin. In fact, this might be one of the best classic Mustang interiors we’ve ever seen, but we’d rather hear from you guys, so let us know if you feel the same way.

Oh, and if you’re not sure about all these changes and how they affect the classic design of a first generation Mustang Fastback’s interior, rest assured that aside from all the new materials and the pillar gauges, everything else is where it should be.
