An Audi R8 was filmed on dash cam side-swiping another car late last month while attempting to overtake.
Caught by the camera the R8 hit, we can see the driver of the German supercar overtaking the slower moving vehicle around an almost blind right hand bend.
When three-quarters of the R8 is ahead of the other car, the driver abruptly swerves right, hitting the vehicle with enough force to send it off course and towards the gravel on the side of the road.
The impatient R8 driver appears to have seen the oncoming bus and panicked, even though the overtaking procedure was far from complete.
The footage shows numerous panels flying loose after the impact but it’s hard to determine if they came from the R8 or the other car. Whatever the case may be, the manic R8 driver can be seen taking off down the road and fleeing the scene without a care in the world.
As the R8’s registration has been clearly caught on tape, we’d expect the owner to be apprehended very soon.
