Zenos Cars have announced the introduction of a new power upgrade kit for the mid-range E10 S.

Available to new or pre-owned examples of the E10 S, the kit costs £1,995 ($2,664) in the UK, and consists of a new air intake, modified intercooler and revised ECU for the 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine.

Output has been raised by 30 HP and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) to a total of 280 HP and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft), improving the regular car’s 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint (4.0 seconds) and top speed of 145 mph (233 km/h).

In response to requests from customers, we’ve developed this upgrade kit to give them more of what makes the E10 S great to drive. We’ve already demonstrated that the innovative hybrid chassis of the E10 series is able to comfortably accommodate the extra power and torque, so the heightened performance is still matched to exceptional balance and poise“, said Mark Eduards, the company’s Managing Director.

Zenos recommends that vehicles fitted with the upgrade kit should run on 97 RON fuel and states that the bundle of upgrades is available in all markets. These can be installed in one day by a sales or service agent, or at the brand’s factory, and does not affect the existing warranties.

The cheapest version of the E10 kicks off at £26,995 ($36,052) in the UK, while the turbocharged E10 S can be had from £32,995 ($44,065) and the range-topping E10 R will set you back for at least £39,995 ($53,413).
