If you believe most of the reviews, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is a true performer that’s capable enough to sway buyers into its driver’s seat over a BMW M3 or Mercedes-AMG C63.

But as a good as a car may drive, it has to also sound good to be the full package. Does the Giulia tick that box?

Well the following clip from Car Throttle should give you an idea with it stripping away any outside sounds to give nothing but the burble delivered by the sedan’s 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine.

Based on this video and not having heard the Giulia Quadrifoglio live just yet, we’d definitely say it sounds better than the current M3, but perhaps not quite as impressive as the thunderous bellow offered by the C63 despite the Merc’s use of forced induction also.

What are your thoughts?
