Lamborghini is currently working on perhaps what’s the most crucial model of their history, the production version of the Urus SUV, set to make its debut in 2018.

Rowan Horncastle, who happens to be Top Gear magazine’s Editor-at-Large spotted a camouflaged test mule parked at the Munich airport.

You can’t really tell what car is hiding under the swirling wrap until you spot the tape applied above the front grille which clearly reads ‘Lamborghini’.

We know that Lamborghini’s upcoming SUV is going to be based on the same platform with the other full-sized SUVs of the Group, including the Audi Q7, the Bentley Bentayga and the next Porsche Cayenne. Lamborghini’s SUV will be reportedly powered by a twin turbo V8, at least when it launches.

And while we knew deep down that Lamborghini would have to tone down the design of Urus concept by a lot for the finished car, seeing this prototype only makes us worry a lot more that we initially did.

What do you think?
