A German Firm Has Already Tuned The Giulia Quadrifoglio To 604 HP

Just a few short months after the first Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglios landed in the hands of customers, tuning specialists Pogea Racing have given the super sedan some added punch.

Typically, the Giulia Quadrifoglio’s 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivers 503 hp, enough to match the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and easily outpower the BMW M3 Competition Package. Not satisfied, Pogea have managed to tune the car to 612 PS (604 hp) and 750 Nm of torque, figures almost identical to the brand new E63 S.

In the company’s Instagram post, they suggest that 604 hp appears to be the limit for the vehicle’s stock hardware but it does have plans to increase power to the 700 PS (690 hp) mark. To do so, it will need some mechanical changes, possibly including upgraded fuel injectors, installing new intake or exhaust systems and a selection of other possible upgrades.

How much power can the Ferrari-derived engine handle? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Correction: Pogea Racing is based in Germany, not in Italy, as this article initially stated

Giulia QV KILLER UPDATE!! Now 612PS/750Nm limited. BOOOOOM!!!! Now this seem to be the limit of the actual hardware. #giulia #700pssoon #giuliaqv #quadrifoglio #ftotheu #ecsucks #allliars #whothefuckistoby

Nice looking car EXCEPT for the ugly front that looks for all the world the incarnation of a human vagina. What a shame they couldn’t have put the same styling expertise into that as the rest of the car. Should be a boss to drive – even standard tune. Unfortunately awkward mouthful of a name name for a car too, methinks. Can’t wait to see the Aussie reviews – should be a blast of a device to drive.

That explains why I like this car so much! lol

hahahaha! yes, you’re probably right – that could be it for a lot of people actually – subconsciously even. Still it shouts at me and Donald trump would be the man with the best word to describe it but somehow “grab it by the front grill” doesn’t sound effective. Don’t think I’d like to be seen driving something with that abomination of styling at the front. That’s just my opinion of course and means nothing to someone who loves it.

        Hahaha!! well said!

As far as blasts go, I can confirm that this is somewhere about halfway to atomic in the way that it drives.

JD Engineering gets 500Hp from the 2.0TSi in the Golf 6 R, so 700 should be possible from 2.9l with 2 turbos!
